In recent era, as the energy crisis is going on increasing day by day and high global emission of polluting gases all over the world, it is inevitable to find the new energy resources. The need of energy of primitive man were limited in the form of food which he derived by eating plants and animals. But after the industrial revolution human need more and more energy for multiple tasks. After 1700 AD, the man started using the coal in large quantities along with oil and natural gas after 1870 AD. Today the world over is using various source of energy for economic development of their country. The power demand is continuously increasing due to increased standard of life all over the world. But due to increase in enormous use of non-renewable resources, they are depleting at faster rate. Along with it we have to pay for the Global warming and pollution also. So then it was important need for the world to find on new energy resources or to focus on the existing renewable resources. Among this wind energy and solar energy will be the next solution on this scenario. The aim of the using wind energy and solar energy is that, they give continuous supply of power in all-weather condition. The aim of this paper is to present the current scenario of this system, Application, future scope, advantages, disadvantages towards sustainable development and growth.
