Objective: To identify scientific articles on pressure-related injury in the elderly population during the period from October 2007 to October 2017. Methodology: A systematic bibliographic review of articles indexed in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) of the Bireme network was carried out in the Bases of Data BDENF, LILACS and SCIELO. Results: We found and reviewed 19 articles that met the pre-established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conclusion: The results of this study showed a very limited number of journals that deal with the topic of pressure injury in the elderly population, making it evident that more research is needed to address this theme.
