Obesidade infantil e epigenética: estudo cienciométrico

This is a sciometric study of the international scientific literature aiming to quantify research in the area of childhood obesity and epigenetics. Forty-five studies were analyzed in relation to the research site, the central theme and the impact factor of the journals that published the works. Studies are scarce, but most of them showed that environmental insults such as antibiotic use, smoking, breastfeeding or infant formula use, air pollution, among others, during intrauterine and early life, as well as pre BMI. gestational diabetes, gestational diabetes, and weight gain in pregnancy have an impact on the genesis of diseases such as obesity through epigenetic mechanisms.
