Objective: to study the risk factors for chronic non-communicable diseases in quilombola communities in Brazil. Methods: An integrative review of the publications constructed between the years 2009 and 2017, which was carried out through the Lilacs, Medline, Pubmed and MedCaribe databases, present in the Virtual Health Library. Results: 30 publications distributed through health descriptors and it was found that the main risk factors for CNCD are smoking, alcoholism and sedentary lifestyle, whose women, children and elders are the most vulnerable. Conclusion: the high prevalence of CNCD risk factors in quilombolas indicates the need for interventions to prevent and promote health, aiming to improve the living conditions of the black population in Brazil.
