Objective: Analyze the relationship between exercise- induced bronchospasm and the quality of life in teenagers with asthma. Methods: This is a narrative-type literature review study. Results: EIB is a frequent clinical relationship that is estimated to occur in 5% to 20% of the general population, being more frequent and with a prevalence of 3% to 35% in adolescents under 16 years old. In order to have, a decrease in the severity of exercise-induced bronchospasm, adolescents with or without asthma should be encouraged to have a continuous relationship of physical activities, because the clinical treatment associated with physical activity and sports improves self-management skills, symptomatology, self-esteem and aerobic conditioning. Conclusion: EIB is a frequent clinical relationship that arises after the interruption of physical exercise, compromising the practice of physical activity, which can link quality of life. Being known to prevent the participation of children and adolescents in vigorous activities, it is considered that normal activities of adolescents may be compromised, which interferes with their quality of life, thus highlighting the importance of diagnosis by specific tests.
