Elementos de interpretação visual das classes de não floresta na amazônia brasileira por meio de imagens sar de banda c/sentinel-1

The object of the article contemplates the preliminary result of a qualitative methodology for mapping non-forest classes present in the Brazilian Amazon through the use of C-band SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images, more specifically, Sentinel-1, in order to better assist interpreters in the process of visual interpretation of these targets. To this end, elements of visual interpretation considered essential for the distinction of non-forest targets will be presented. In the results and final considerations, positive and negative aspects will be examined, in addition to proposals for improving the process of identifying non-forest targets.
