Health crisis management has become increasingly vital in the face of global health emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. This review explores the evolution and current practices in health crisis management, highlighting key components such as preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. The article examines significant milestones that have shaped the field and identifies challenges, including coordination issues, resource limitations, communication barriers, and technological gaps. Through the analysis of recent case studies, best practices are identified, and innovative strategies are discussed. The review synthesizes these findings to provide insights into effective health crisis management and offers practical recommendations for enhancing future responses.
