The awareness on the harmful effects of non-organic food is increasing among the consumers. In recent days there have been significant changes in the attitude of consumers towards food safety, health concern and also nutritious and environment friendly. In now a day the trend towards purchasing of organic food is growing among people. Hence, the study to analyze what actually encourages consumers to turn towards organic food is important and to identify the important factors which motivating to purchase of the organic foods. The study found that health and nutritious, environmental concern, quality of the products, lifestyles are the most common factors which motivates for the purchasing of organic foods among consumers.
