The powders of the sheets of tobacco and tephrosia, were tested under the environmental conditions of the store of conservation of seeds (To and Hr) with various amounts on the conservation of common bean in order to highlight the optimal amount which makes it possible to fight against the beetle of bean Acanthoscelidesobiectus say. The test revealed a very marked activity of the powder of tobacco with regard to Acanthoscelidesobtectus, whereas the powder of tephrosia did not show any effectiveness, whatever the amount. Our results obtained show that the powder of tobacco to the amount of 2% protects seeds from bean for 8 months of conservation with a rate of attack of 5.34%.
