Utilização da tecnologia blockchain na logística aeroportuária: um estudo bibliométrico

Objective: to quantify scientific studies involving blockchain technology in airport logistics. Methodology: quantitative bibliometric study, to obtain information in one of the main databases, the Web of Science, through the CAPES Journal Portal. Method: The publications related to the theme from 2000 to 2020 were collected and analyzed, looking for publications that contained variants of the terms “Blockchain” and “Airport Logistics”, to cover the largest quantity of publications related to the themes. Conclusions: there are many activities, studies and debates in the business / industrial sphere about Blockchain technology, but it was concluded that there is a profound deficiency of scientific research in the area of airport logistics involving blockchain technology. Thus, a scientific research gap was identified with opportunities for future research.
