Public policy for the field: pronaf impacts to small farms in mucajaí country-rr

The BrasilianNacional Program for Family agriculture – PRONAF is an agrarian policy for agriculture and has as main goal to provide different ways of credit to small family farmers in order to improve conditions of living in the countryside. The goal of this article is to analyze the impacts of PRONAF policy developed in Apiaú area in Mucajaí country-RR through study of case of the families, including the representatives of the department of agriculture in Boa Vista (SEAPA) and technicians from Apiaú agriculture department were some of methods used. The results of this research lead to understand the reality of the families in Apiaú area in two main aspects: The first one are the advancements in the region specially is social and financial conditions of these small farmers who received the benefits from this policy, the second one is the expansion of capitalism and great concentration of richness of big farmers in the field.
