This article introduces part of the results of the research that focused to understand the conditions that enabled the formation and continuity, from 1962 to 1990, of the Cine ClubeTeresinense (CCT), as an educational activity from Diocesano School, institution linked to the Catholic Church in Teresina, Piauí. One starts as theoretical-methodological assumptions the studies from the Sociology of the Culture, more precisely Norbert Elias’ configuration theory, which enables to understand the relations between memory, knowledge and language, through the interdependence between individuals and institutions. The reflective work proposes to apprehend the habitus conformation that expresses itself in the guidance of behaviors and in the constitution of collective collection of experiences. It does this by taking the practice of practices of the cinema education developed by CCT to understand the learning and knowledge transmission processes, by searching for documental collection of the Diocesano School Memorial, the newspaper O Dia and the CCT partners, other than conducting semi-structured interviews with movie clubbers, in Teresina.
