Many people believe that it is important to just set aside money to guard against possible future financial damage. However, they end up missing opportunities to earn income with the money saved. By using the money saved in applications that earn interest, corrections or other forms of remuneration, the individual turns savings into investment. The Brazilian financial and capital markets have the capacity to offer and distribute a variety of alternatives and products to investors, and the search for profitable capital available for investment grows gradually, in most situations, by increasing the income of the Brazilian population, and the capacity for internal savings. The purpose of this paper was to use a methodology to assist in the selection of the best stocks in the financial market to invest in 2020, according to several vehicles of the Brazilian capital market. The TODIM Decision Multicriteria Support Method was used, which serves as a tool for data ordering. The analyzed information followed qualitative and quantitative criteria, consolidated through spreadsheets explaining items of performance, quality and ordering in the generation of sensitivity analyzes to support investment decisions. The paper has shown that to build a portfolio investment with adequate planning to support the decision is the best choice to do.
